What Can Comfort You?
What can comfort you
When a loved one is lost,
When the pain is so great
And your world’s been tossed?
What can calm you
When no words know how,
When the load is hard to bear
And you need relief right now?
What can guide you
When you’re not sure which way to go,
When the mountain seems too steep
And you’re in the valley so low?
What can uplift you
When you can’t see this trial’s end?
Only the arms of the Lord
And the prayers of a friend.
