Prayer for Life

(as recited before every weekend Mass at Santa Maria del Mar, Flagler Beach, FL)

Lord, Creator of Life, you have blessed us with the privilege of bringing new life into the world. May your Holy Spirit open our hearts and minds to recognize Your special gift of children, and Your great love for each of us created in Your image and likeness.

You sent your Son Jesus to redeem us and through love He entered our world.

We now turn to Mary, our Mother, and Joseph, our Guardian, for their intercession as we struggle to protect innocent unborn children. Following Mary and Joseph’s example, may we proclaim the truth of our faith, assist those in crisis and protect those most vulnerable.

We ask this through Christ, Our Lord.

Amen.
