Announcing Our "Building For
Our Future" Campaign

This past weekend, I was pleased to announce the start of a very important project here in our church - the "Building For Our Future" Campaign. Its aim is to raise the funds required to build a new Learning Facility and Rectory.
Our need and goal is to raise a minimum of $1,500,000
over the next 3 years. A challenge goal of $2,000,000 has also been set,
which will enable us to complete the project without debt and possibly
even address other needs, such as replacing the church roof, refurbishing
our church air conditioning system and paying down the current mortgage
on our church.
The campaign will officially commence with a special
“Campaign Kick-Off Celebration" scheduled for Sunday, November 13,2005,
that all members are cordially invited to and encouraged to attend.
Our efforts will culminate on the weekend of December 3-4, 2005 - a special
time that we're calling "Commitment Weekend, " when campaign volunteers
will be visiting with members after services, in their homes and/or by
phone to explain our efforts, answer questions and invite your financial
participation.
In preparation for this important effort and eventual visit. I would ask for your help in three ways.
First, please pray for our campaign's success. Our success is dependant upon both your willingness and God's guiding grace. Secondly, please consider becoming a campaign volunteer. Over 250 individuals or couples are needed to assist with the campaign in a variety of ways to assure that the campaign is efficiently and effectively run and that the job of volunteering is easier and more enjoyable for everyone. Finally, please ultimately support the campaign financially, too. There are a variety of ways that gifts can be made, but long-term gifts or pledges payable over a 3 year period - over and above what you may already contribute regularly to the church - are needed to assure both our campaign's and our ongoing operating success.
