A Case Statement In Support of Constructing a New Learning Center and Rectory |
Our Campaign
To address our needs and plans we are initiating an intensive fund raising effort titled the “Building For Our Future” campaign. Our aim with this important effort is to raise the funds required to build the new Learning Center and Rectory facilities and to make the other related improvements that are planned. The cost of these enhancements amounts to $2,000,000 of which we have $500,000 on-hand. This leaves $1,500,000 that needs to be raised, and we have established this as our minimum goal. Raising the whole cost of the project, however, – or $2,000,000 – would enable us to preserve our cash reserves and address other needs such as replacing the church roof, refurbishing our church air conditioning system and paying down the current mortgage on our church. So this is our challenge goal.
The campaign will officially commence with a “Campaign Kickoff Celebration” scheduled for Sunday, November 13, 2005. All members are invited and encouraged to attend. The campaign will culminate on Saturday and Sunday, December 3-4, 2005 – a special time that we’re calling “Commitment Weekend,” when campaign volunteers will be visiting with members after Mass, in their homes and/or by phone to explain our efforts, answer questions and invite your investments.
